Just sayin, I think these type posts have run their course, people "pining" for "influence" from the crowd.

I post my stuff in show and tell and let my peers say what they like.

Do you know how many times I have been told to apply for this "status"?

    Countless.

Do you know how many times I applied?

    Zero.

Look, don't take this as anything more than sound advice:

Don't come flame your desires here, put your app in, if the powers that be approve you, so be it, if not, keep trying and reapplying.

I have never seen a S&T post from you that I can remember. Maybe try that?

Your peers will give you your due props in show and tell and the staff will give you the badge if they deem worthy of such.

The important thing overall though is that you love your own collection. Personally, I collect Patrick Roy and I counted everything I have yesterday and was shocked to find that I only have 14% of all of his cards so I'm about 20% short of qualifying for a supercollector badge. I don't really care though, I love my PC, take great pride in it and the comments I get when I show part of it off in the show and tell forum as Barrie mentioned.

For the record, yours is very impressive, love the game used gloves :)

Why are you shocked? Your boy is one of the greatest goalies ever, I mean, you gotta figure they're gonna make a few cards of him?

Karine, you'll get that badge in no time I'm sure, keep up your tremendous efforts.Your collection is pretty darn sweet for "only" 14%, it is quality not quantity.

I was shocked because it felt like I had more than I did in a way...

And that's just the thing Barrie, about the SC program it seems to be a lot about quantity rather than quality really. I bet the problem with this member's application was the percentage of cards he owns...There is too much emphasis on the percentage...
