Hi everyone...I collected hockey cards when I was younger and am now just getting back into. Problem is as I am sure you all know it isnt the same game it used to be. I used to buy entire sets of UD in 91 for like $50-$75 but I know that this can be the price of some packs.

I am wondering what are some good series to buy to get back into the game?
I have been looking at getting a hobby box of 09/10 UD Game Used.

Before you waste any more money, you need to sit down and start thinking about the bigger picture. First and foremost, what is your budget (per day, per week, per month, per year)? Second question to ask yourself, would you like low-end, mid-end, or high-end cards? Third question/contemplation is to start thinking if you want to focus on a particular player(s), particular team, particular group (ie. Russians only, HOFers only, Rookie cards only)? There are probably more to think about or to ask yourself, but at least try to answer all three of the above before proceeding. It's nice that you have a Schenn Marks of a Nation and the Lindbergh stick, but was it worth spending all that money to pull those two that might not even end up in your PC?

Schenn is staying in my personal collection...the Lindberg stick save is not.
