The attorney for Al Jefferson, who was arrested Feb. 27 near downtown Minneapolis on suspicion of driving under the influence, said he plans to enter a plea agreement that could prevent the case from going to trial.

"Al has taken full responsibility in this matter, and he's ready to get the situation resolved," lawyer Emanuel Serstock said Wednesday morning after Jefferson's arraignment in Hennepin County District Court.
