Bernier Leads Monarchs to Eastern Finals

I will say it again - the Kings would have advanced at least to the second round if Bernier was in net. Quick struggled and Bernier was hot. I guess I can understand wanting to reward the guy that got you there but it's disappointing to know that goaltending was the difference and we had a guy that could have done the job in Manchester.

Hopefully Manchester can pull the huge upset and take out Hershey. Hershey was by far the best team in the East this year but you never when you have a hot goalie.

Good on you Bernier - I'm looking forward to seeing you with the Kings all year next year (hopefully as the #1).

Sorry but this title is all sorts of wrong. You HAVE to include Holloway. The dude has SIX GWGs. In 10 games. Plus he assisted on Voynovs GWG in game 6. Holloway and Bernier should be Kings next year.

I could see Holloway as the 4th line center next year. He's been great but he wouldn't have made the difference against Vancouver - Bernier would have.
But he's been amazing in the playoffs, that's for sure.
