^ Thanks for the link. That site is exactly what I was hoping to find. They have just about every team and lettering I could ask for. I really appreciate your help with that link.

I'm looking for a place to buy the official tackle twill numbers and lettering used on professional jersys'. Right now I am more focused on baseball but will take any advice/info for all sports.

I posted this here because I want them for TTM and IP use. I'm looking for a cheaper way to get a signed jersey. It's just tooooo expensive to ship and risk an official sewn jersey TTM. If I can buy the numbers I can send to more of my favorite players and not worry about never seeing the jersey again.

    Any help is really appreciated.

Did you ever buy any letters/numbers and send them TTM? I'm curious how you displayed them after you got the autograph.

I recently bought a couple numbers from eastern lettering. Ther price was great, but shipping was horrible. They charged my 7.50 shippeing on a 12 dollar order and then mailed my order in a regular envelope with a .61 stamp. It then took 3 weeks to get my numbers.

I had the same problem. After 2 weeks I flipped on them. Aparantly they never mailed them, because they refunded my money and I still to this day never recieved them.

After that experience I just bought a few jerseys and hope to find a good source over the winter. I would NEVER recommend those people for anything, so whoever is reading this think long and hard efore doing business with them.

If I do find a new source for numbers I will post it here and PM you. I tried to find them but it seems near impossible. I don't know if there is a different "industry" term for them, but tackle twill numbers/lettering dosen't really return much on Google. And the few I do find they offer "kits" for absurd prices or the individual number price is just stupid. For a two number player with shipping it's actually cheaper to buy a knockoff jersey from China. Hopefully with some luck I'll find a reliable source soon.

You know, I've bought jerseys from EcSeller.com and NFLJerseyShop, and they always have a representative online available to chat, they're pretty nice over there, I asked if they'd make me a Takeo Spikes jersey for regular price and they said they would, so maybe they'd be nice enough to sell you some numbers?

Yeah...I don't know if they are going to get my business again. A stamp and basic enevolop, and charge 7.50...absurd.

What was your plan on displaying them. I was thinking about some type of shaddow box, but the numbers themself don't look great without the stitching. Maybe I'll just buy some a piece of jersey materail and have then sown on and then display that. Thoughts?

I have done some jersey #s framed with a linen background and they have turned out nice. Inexpensive to do as well.

Did you have the numbers sown onto the linen?

No I just used some fabric glue to adhere the #s to the linen. It has held up very well and looks great. I was considering doing some on some jersey material in the future.

sorry for the bad recommendation guys. I've never had any major issues with them and I've always received my stuff in around a week. I agree shipping is a little high but most people nowadays try to make extra $ on shipping so I'm used to it.
