Can I get some guidance

So I made a trade with a guy for an Eddie Royal Topps Stadium Club Auto. It was for 2 cards. Now the guy is saying it is smeared (Please see scan below). I am going to copy his message to me below, what do you think I should do?

hey bud, got the card today, but the auto is pretty badly smeared, i would like to either get the topps chrome or topps mato auto in return instead, or i can keep it and send you the randle el patch, lmk, disappointed since you didnt tell me it was smudged wouldnt of even bothered trading for it"

think the only logical would be for you both to send each's cards back and be donw with it if you do not want to exchange

FYI-If it was a trade here it would not be tough to figure out and posting PM material is against TOS
