    Tulsa's WNBA debut

Erm, Nathan and I might be the only ones with any interest in this, but in case there are any other closet WNBA fans out there -

I got to see a bit of the game (not in Tulsa, just on TV) and Tulsa put up a good fight considering they've lost all their key pieces from the Detroit squad (Ford, Nolan, and Smith).

I'm even closer to Tulsa than I am to OKC, so hopefully I can catch a game live sometime there.

I was going to post about this...just hadn't gotten around to it. Glad to see the Lynx pull off a win...Whalen didn't do too bad in her Lynx debut. Lynx put up the most points of the night as well...they started off last season averaging nearly 100 PPG, I believe...wonder if they can do that again...

This season should be a fun one to watch!

I hadn't seen much of Whalen previously, but she's hella fast.

She's originally from the town 8 miles away from me...nice to see a professional from your homestate return to play for the pro team. Went to the Uni. of Minnesota too...heckuva player from what I've seen!
