poor sticker auto placement on this TimeLess Treasures card
I don't think many collectors like sticker auto's. I get that they help to keep the price of some products down, which is good despite the sticker auto's. I don't think they should be in higher end products, but even still, i think Panini's Timeless Treasures product looks pretty good. Accept for this Jabbar Auto. What's the deal with placing the sticker right over Jabbar? Maybe put the sticker in the "dead space" of the card in the top right??? What do you think: http://cgi.ebay.com/Kareem-Abdul-Jab...#ht_500wt_1082

that is the worse place to put a sticker. it takes away from the whole card. I am extremely disgusted with Panini products for this simple reason... the guy (or machine) that places stickers on cards was lazy!! hopefully it was just a handful of cards, not all of them...
** PANINI, USE BETTER JUDGEMENT WITH YOUR STICKER AUTOS **
STOP WITH REDEMPTIONS!!

This is the first time i've seen some bad sticker placement from Panini.
Redemptions? HA! Every other company does them, at least Panini fills them out in a timely manner.Last edited by GilbertArenas0; 05-16-2010 at 04:52 PM.

A couple things...
Panini needs to put names on their redemptions
Panini needs to put borders around their jerseys/patches/logomen
Panini needs to stop having Kobe on-card autos and the rest of the set sticker autos
Panini needs to put out more high-end products
Panini needs to learn where to place stickers

I think Timeless Treasures has some of the nicest designs in a while... and some of the ugliest designs in a while. I really like the Home/Away Gamer Dual Patch, Material Ink and Rookie Year sets. I'm also a fan of the non-auto Apprentice jersey/gu set. Those HOF autos are designed terribly if they meant to place the auto where they have been placed. I would assume that's where they wanted them because that's where Kobe signed and it's the same on the Apprentice cards. The base GU stuff is pretty bland/lame/weird looking as well.
I think they're going in the right direction. There's a lot of big name autos in this set, and Durant will be on board soon. The price is a little high for what you get on average, but these are nice cards in general IMO.

I agree, horrible placement on that auto. I'm scared to buy a tin now since a lot of people are saying the case hits aren't spread around the tins.
However, I have gotten a on card autograph out of the classics from Doc Rivers so there are a few on cards in their sets.
On the redemtions through Panini, are the autos on them on card? I have a few auto redemptions on order and was really hoping they weren't sticker :(

The reason why they put on the body instead of the right hand side is because it has another version with GU/Auto. The GU window is right next to the player (on the right hand side). But then, it is design problem as they don't even left 1 "box" or "area" for auto. Studio base card is the best for auto if they put different ink instead of blue.
