Gretzky autos

Ive looked at gretzky autos the last few years on ebay. More and more are being produced yet the price stays the same. You dont see many going for less than 100.00, I bought one some time ago for a little over 100 and thought i got a deal..Has anyone found one for less than 100? you can find howe and orr autos for 50-80 alot of times..I would think with more and more cards being produced the price would go down. what does everyone think?

There are a couple of gretzky autos that can be had for less than 90$. Some look okay, most look crummy.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen some of those go for even less, but I just wanted to find an example of one.

Went for just shy of 87. Despite the high print run, I think that card looks better tham any of his Autos that are out there.

The way I see it - Clean looking / hard signed / pictured as an Oiler Autos..... are never going to drop too far in price. Probably get a little lower price going after a Kings or Rangers one (does he even have any picture on St. Louis?). Sticker Autos, IMO, will probably see a bit of a price drop.

Your reasoning is sound though. As more and more flood the market.... how many are being bought up by people that want to own 100 Gretzky Autos, and how many are being bought up by people that want to own 1 ? (You can say the same thing about any star player).

As more are produced, it will become easier for people to own 1. If that's all they're after - prices should drop.
