Red face How do you get CC's?

I am so confused by this Cardcash thing. Can someone explain it better than "you sell cards, you get cardcash?" How does a new person get cardcash? Why do I want cardcash instead of regular cash? Help!!!

Here's a link to SCF's CardCash info. You can use cardcash to purchase items in SCF's cardcash store (not much in there at the moment). If I'm not mistaken, SCF no longer gives cardcash for referrals or for just signing up. Sometimes exceptional posts will get you some cc but that's kind of rare. Nowadays, about the only way to get cc is to win it in various SCF games and contests or to make deals for cc with other SCF members. As a general guideline, 1 cc = $0.01 when buying/selling cc for cash (discounts are common). When buying/selling cards for cc, 10 cc = $1.00 bv (book value). That's also a guideline, but most members go by it. SCF even has a bank to deposit your cc where it can gain interest. But I haven't been able to find out exactly what the annual/monthly/daily interest rate is.
