Cards from Asia
Is there any chance that buying cards from asia could be fakes at all? Like theres afew jerseys on ebay that are pretty cheap n noones bidding... Is it possible or more than likely they wouldnt be real?

People in Asia (Taiwan namely) are notorious for their altered cards (better patch inserted, etc) but there are also a bunch of legit sellers. I wouldn't bid on anything spectacular that could very well be fake (a logo patch or some other patch that's really nice, when the normal swatches are just jerseys or plain patches.) but if it's something smaller I wouldn't be worried.
I remember a year or two ago there was some guy from Taiwan that was selling like 25 jersey cards on Ebay and they all had NBA Logoman patches... not common ;)
Note: not being racist or anything... it's just a known fact that Asians make more fake stuff then anyone else. I guess it's because they're so far away from North America, Austrailia, Euroupe, etc that it would be hard to catch them.Last edited by kr580; 02-13-2005 at 08:59 AM.
