Ttm help needed!
i was going to start attempts at through the mail autographs from some retired baseball players. i know a lot of them require fees for signing . does that pay for the shipping back? if i was to mail a baseball would they need somekind of return envelope with it or do they have a way of paying the shipping fee back? thanks plmk !

Fees for any TTM generally do not include shipping. Always be sure to include a proper SASE (Correct Postage and Size for the items sent!)

I've been sending a few more to retired players recently. I might suggest going after players who don't require fees. There's a ton of them in the database. You might not get the top of the top, but you'll still get plenty of interesting guys.

just enclose a self addressed stamped envelope with enough postage to get your item back- they can help with this at the post office (proper shipping and what not)

From your sig I might suggest Mussina as a great player to start with as he has been great to TTM requests and has no fee.
