SPA Delayed Again

I read it on the ud facebook page that it is being delayed thay said thay would have a new date for it in about a week

If you ask me it has very little to do with planning, and more to do with not paying players for their autographs. We know what happened in baseball with players being owed a lot of money, I don't think it's unreasonable to think it's happening across other Upper Deck products. I don't think it's a coincidence that more products are being delayed than ever when Upper Deck's financial situation is dwindling. I guess they're not lying when they say it's to get more hard-signed content in the products, what they're not telling us is why so much said content is being delayed to begin with.

It's going to be the 10-11 season before some of their products gets released! What are they going to do when it comes time to put an effort into making next year's products when 4-5 haven't even been released for the previous season?

UD Series 1 won't be out until February of next year at this rate!

By delaying the product, UD is attempting to put fewer redemptions in the product. Damned if they do and damned if they don't.

So, the extra 2-3 months from the original date it should have been released didn't help them get those redemptions in time so they make their customers wait another X amount of days until they get what 2-3 more players in? Aren't they supposed to plan like 6 months ahead for this back in September-October?

I wouldn't call that ignorance...at least not on our part ;)

It has been for every set and it just doesn't make sense anymore.
