Help with error on Derrick Coleman card

My 8 yr old son received a pack of cards for his birthday and we noticed a possible error on one of the cards but, have not been able to find any information about. It is a Derrick Coleman authentic game-worn jersey card by Topps, actually bakooka topps if that makes a difference. He is wearing a Sixers jersey but the logo on the card is of the Pistons. I know he is a current Piston player and this card is from the new 2004-2005 collection. Why would they still have him in a Sixers jersey and is this jersey from when he was a Sixer or Piston? Has anyone encountered this before?

That is a common practice now with jersey cards lately. With so many players being traded in todays market, most of us including the card companies have a hard time trying to keep up with who's who, etc. And with the amount of card companys making jersey cards in almost all of their products (mass amounts) they just run out of jerseys to put on their cards, so then you end up with jersey cards just like you have now. Hope this helps out some.
