You aren't including shipping. So I'm not supposed to include shipping (which is an error as that's part of what people pay, it's a factor in the final price), and then I'm supposed to ship for free. Thus doubling the mistake?

After both eBay and PayPal fees, I'm looking at $35-37 based on recent completed listings. I have no problem selling there. And who doesn't look at shipping prices? I always have, and it's common sense. What if someone lists a card at BIN $1 but has a shipping price of $1000? Would you ask for the card for a $1? "But, but, but that's not the same thing." Yes, yes it is. It's just on a larger scale. When you buy on eBay, do you look at the shipping price and factor it in to your decision? Of course you do.
Why would you buy it from me at $35 gift? It isn't rocket science.
$37.33 dlvd. (You save $2.33)
$38.88 dlvd. (You save $3.88)
$52.98 dlvd. (You save $17.98)
$38.50 dlvd. (You save $3.50)
$40.59 dlvd. (You save $5.59)
And why are you posting all of this in a thread where I'm selling? To trash my sale so you can maybe get it cheaper? All of this is incredibly inappropriate and would've been better made by PM. Especially given how wrong you've been at every step. I'm sorry I'm not going to do the leg work for you and sell at the lowest completed listing price when over 85% of the listings go for more than my asking price. That's just lazy.
EDIT: I have a compromise though. I'll list it at $30 BIN with $8 shipping on eBay. I'll end up with my $35 and you'll get the price you want. We both win.Last edited by Velvet Hoop; 05-31-2010 at 01:09 AM.

I just showed you the last 5 completed listings. They were all today and yesterday. It looks to me like they're selling for $37-38 dlvd. I listed it as normal $42 on here because I know every single person on here will always ask for lower than listed. I wanted $38 to start. $38 after fees is like $36. People are much more likely to pay $35 than $36, it's psychological. So, yes... I came down from my initial goal of $38... by a dollar... to try and get it sold.
And my inappropriate remark was "hey, they're selling for less on eBay." They are not "selling" for less than $35 dlvd. on eBay. Very few have, and many more have not. That's a distortion of fact.

And again, you are not including shipping and want me to eat that cost. Very generous of you.

No problem, this thread is torched anyways. But do you know how many of the most recent Tates have sold at or above $35 dlvd. in a row?
