'10 Donruss Classics Demaryius Thomas 355/399

Short story: Bought this and one other D Thomas auto from a seller here on SCF. Confirmed the purchase, great price, on Saturday morning. That next afternoon Demaryius drops 124 yds and 1 TD on the Jets and the next Sunday he goes off for 174 yds 2 TDs AND one of those TD's is Manning's record breaker TD pass!!! Love it when the timing is so goooooood!!!!

Can't go wrong with timing like that. Staying with D and hopefully opening this up for everyone, quad patch of Rivers/Gates/Mathews/Woodhead numbered /25.

Amazing patches there! Rare you see multiple multi-colored patches on one card!! That is all... can't wait to see that Emmitt you're about to get Papa, or DeMarco.. or Dorsett... lol

Ok 90sTrip, if you're going to bend my arm behind my back I'll post this one. A little background, guy walks into a Midwest Collectables with a couple of boxes of cards looking to sell. Guy doesn't know what they are worth and asks for $100. Jim, the owner says "No, won't give you $100, let's make it $400". Cash and cards exchange hands and the guy is on his way with a big smile. I look over and he had some great cards, Russell Wilson Press Pass auto, Cam Newton auto, basketball, FB, BB, etc. You get the gist of it. Jim offers me a look. I pick out a DeMarco Murray 2011 Topps Chrome Finest Freshman rc /99, 2012 Prominence Luke Kuechly auto /499, 2011 Platinum Randall Cobb rc refractor, 2013 Chrome Terrance Williams auto /600 and this one........

Right place at the right time I guess!! Was super impressed that Jim didn't take the initial offer of $100 but paid a fair price. Nice to see an honest shop owner these days!
