    Kobe Auto: Real or Fake??

i have seen a few of these Kobe autos from 1997 Scoreboard on ebay and some other places. They always go for under $100. The auto is from earlier in his career, but if it is real his auto must've changed over time a little bit.

    So REAL? or FAKE?

REAL FAKE. I don't know. I say if unsure don't bid on it or trade for it.

Scoreboard was actualy sued for forgeries. I would stay FAR FAR away from any Scoreboard product. I want a Kobe auto myself & have been tempted to bid on one of those before, but I'll wait til I have the extra $25-50 to get a Kobe I feel more confident in

A lot (if not all) of those cards were released UNSIGNED when Scoreboard was going through bankruptcy or something like that. I remember seeing ebay auctions for them. Then people put a fake AUTO on there, and began reselling them.

    Stay away from that card!

i have an Iverson one! and i have been told its very unclear with them as people got a bunch of unsigned ones and started signing themselves. Mine was given to me so it dont' bother me much that it could be fake. i guess its like 50/50 on em>!!
