This was bound to happen. But they do have some very good young talent to look forward to in Matt Wieters, Brian Matusz and Nolan Reimold. They also have Adam Jones and Nick Markakis. The problem with the Orioles is they're in the toughest division in baseball & the young talent can't wait to leave Baltimore to play for a winner.

They are definitely at the bottom of a ladder-less well...not sure that firing the manager will help at all...

He should`ve been fired LAST year!! Is it possible for the O`s to lose 100 games BEFORE the allstar game!! I`m gettin so sick of this every year!! Wouldn`t matter what division they were in they still would SUCK!! As long as Angelos is running the team they will continue to SUCK. To bad an owner can`t be fired. Upper management needs to go scouting staff needs to go, can the whole lot of em!
The O`s have some good young players for sure, but I`m afraid I gotta agree they can`t wait to get outta Baltimore. Who can blame em actually? This used to be one of the best franchises in baseball and now they`re the JOKE of baseball. I don`t know how much longer I`m gonna be able to call myself an O`s fan. Rant over.

Though personally I'm tired of seeing managers getting fired for the team's poor performance. I mean look at who's been fired the past couple seasons: Clint Hurdle, Ned Yost, Cecil Cooper, and I know there's been more. I'm tired of front offices blaming the team's poor performaces on managers. The managers aren;t the ones out there striking out 10 times in a game, the managers aren't the ones out there giving up grand slams...it's the PLAYERS! The managers are just making due with what's given to them - and I'm tired of seeing them fired because their own front offices don't give them anything to work with.
Okay, end of rant, lol.
