What are 3D Lenticular Cards that sounds pretty cool. This is a stupid concept though, because not everyone is a UNC fan . . . I guess the silver lining in this product is Eric Montross autos?

Just go on ebay and type in 3d lenticular cards and you will find several listings to show you what they look like. Here is a example:

If you notice most are in the non sport cards market.

I know this is off the promo advertising for it but seriously, would people even consider saying that phrase if Michael Jordan hadn't gone there.
If anything, they should make a UCLA set. I feel UK is more prestigious than them (wonder why
) but a UCLA set would have a lot more popular players in it.

Well if you asked anyone who they want autograph wise I am sure Mike would top the list on a majority scale. So perhaps that why they are doing this. Also, it might be because North Carolina is like what 2nd in wins all time behind UK I believe. So with that as a combination of Mike, Wins, more final four appearances than any other school, most consecutive 20 winnning game seasons, been seeded number 1 in the tournament more than any other team, been ranked in the top 25 more than any other school, so let give them their share no matter your personal feelings.
So Jordan aside I think they have a lot of other thing to crow about.

Wow, thats impressive and makes me sound really ignorant lol.
Regardless, I still think UNC's recruiting efforts even today are still influenced by being the Alma Mater of MJ. Who doesn't wanna be like Mike?

Just a fyi I know all about Ky basketball and love their program. Anyone that lives in Lexington knows about them be it Hall, Sutton, Pitino, Smith, to the new Coach C as the state lives and breathes basketball hoops.
I just wish sometimes fans like yourself could check the loyalty of their team at the door and admit there are other school out there that deserve love just as well. Not a basher of any team but their facts out there just like UK being the leader in a number of categories but you shared none of those such as:
total tourney appearances, 2nd in tourney wins, also the most appearances for the final eight and sweet sixteen. I just like facts but just like UCLA has ton of accolades to share there no reason not to focus a set on any of their franchises. Heck, you could even put Duke up there as some other schools.
As for M.J. I think his effect on recruting it past but that just me. Perhpas will run into each other at the cardshow in Lexington or Jon shop in Richmond someday. We can debate this til the end of time. there no right or wrong answer at it opinions we are sharing.

I'm not dogging UNC at all, I just thought there were other more deserving programs but obviously UNC has the stats to back it up. I'm really surprised they would marginalize their demographic to one particular college program.

I am assuming this is UD thing path to doing this for a lot of colleges in the future. It just them utilizing the college sport license. So they could do this in all sports and multi-sport products. Of course only time will tell what they will release.
