ebid.net
Does anyone use the site? So I was searching for an alternate to ebay and found www.ebid.net. The site has been around since 1997 so I know that it is legit.
They have a few ways of selling on there.
One is a one time fee of like $80 and you can sell as many auctions as you would like for free, set your starting price at whatever you want and list a BIN and their are no final value fees.
Another is five cents to list an auction, set it to whatever price you want, have a BIN and a final value fee of only 3%.
The other way is free to list, you can set your price to whatever you want, no BIN and final value fee is only 3%.
On all three ways their is no limit to how many auctions that you can list.
So I signed up yesterday and I am assuming that hockey card sales are slow on there. My biggest thing is that I can just list off my cards and set a price that I would like to get. If it sells than great, if it does not sell then I do not get charged a cent.

It would be great for a site like this to come up and overtake ebay, but realistically it will never happen :(. SCF should start its own sports cards auction site :D

I am too but until that happens this is a very good alternate. I am going to list a bunch of cards on there over the next few days and hopefully I will be able to sell some cards.
Has anyone else ever dealt with this site?

Nope first time ive heard of it actually, but it has to be somewhat popular with over 2 million auctions currently running. Maybe we should start promoting it? Everyone put it in their sig's or something lol

Andrew I am all for it. I say that we all should spread the word around like wildfire.
Ebay only lets you list 100 auctions a month at $0.99 cents and then charges you $0.15 an auction after that. They charge you $0.15 to start an auction off at a price above $0.99. Then they charge a 9% final value fee.
Ebid lets you list an unlimited amount of auctions, start your price off at whatever you want and only charge a 3% final value fee.

So just one more thing to mention. The options for payment for selling stuff are:
Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, BACS/EFT Bank Transfer, Checks, Money/Postal Orders, MoneyBookers, Google Checkout and Other.
That is a whole lot better than just PayPal and that is it.
