Ticket Scams Target Hockey Fans
Con artists taking advantage of Stanley Cup finals fans
Hockey fans beware.
Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is warning consumer that some con artists are selling tickets online for seats that don’t exist to the remaining games of the Chicago Blackhawks-Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup final series.
“Hockey fans need to be wary of fraudulent ticket scams,” Madigan said. “Especially during a championship series, there are con artists out there looking to exploit fans who just want to show support for their team.”
