    2009-2010 Timeless Treasures Basketball

    2009-2010 Panini Timeless Treasures Basketball

    Panini Sell Sheet

    PER BOX ITEMS
3 Autograph or Memorabilia Cards Per Tin
    2 Commons/Parallels

The standard sized cards have a full color shot of the listed player. The border-less fronts have the player picture superimposed over a simple clean design that draw the eye to the center of the card. The player, team and set names, position and player number are all listed on the card front. The card backs have a similar design as the fronts. The backs feature the team logo, basic profile information, either last years or career (for retired players) statistics, and moderate career highlights. All of the base cards are serial numbered with different tier parallels of numbering available.

    What I pulled:
    5 unique cards.
Base cards #67 Rudy Fernandez, and #75 Al Cervi, both serial numbered out of 399. 2/100 base cards.
Two game used cards both numbered
    One Autograph card also numbered.

    Base card front and back:

    The Hits:
George Gervin Hall of Fame Auto #/35
    DeJuan Blair Game used #/100
    Deron Williams Patch #/25

    ************************************************** *******

I always love ripping super high-end product! Lets face it, Timeless treasures is not for set collectors, it is all about the hits! The positives include a clean design and layout, very attractive looking base and hits cards, and some pretty big hits available! I also love the fact that ALL of the cards are serial numbered. The auto is a sticker auto and it seems to get lost as it is right over the play picture. A blue sharpie over a black jersey picture just does not stand out a lot. It looks like there is plenty of room on the card to the right of the player for the auto. Although I will not call this condition sensitive, I will say handle with care! The cards in the tin were loosely wrapped in cellophane and could not only slide around in the wrapper but also the whole wrapper inside the tin.

    The Bottom Line:
I give 2009-2010 Timeless treasures a BUY rating for one tin. Go get your fix of busting a super high end product and pull a card for your PC or to flip and get your money back. Do not buy if you are looking to complete the base set. The hits are nice, but only if you are going for established or retired players. Do not go prospecting with Timeless treasures.

    The Final Score:
    Final Ratings (Out of 5):
    Base set collect-ability: 1/5
    Big-hit Hunter: 5/5
    Prospector Hunter:NA
    Overall Design: 5/5
    Fun: 5/5
    Value: 5/5
    Re-buy: 4/5
    Overall Quality: 5/5

    Overall: 30/35 (86% = B)

Yeah..... you had a decent box... I don't think your ratings would be so high if you had one of the boxes I've seen results of, or even the one I broke myself - best hit was a Dwight Howard jersey... yuck. For $95? It's HUGELY hit or miss, and apparently the last 3 or 6 tins in the case have the good pulls...
Plus re-sale on ebay is pretty tough. When patches #/10 are selling for around $10 things are pretty bad.

My best pull out of my one tin was a Dirk GU /100...Thats ridiculous considering I've pulled much lower numbered stuff out of 6 dollar packs of Classics.

congrats on the williams though, sick patch on that one.

I pulled a Kobe on card auto patch numbered 24/25 from my one tin so I was pretty happy. I love the overall look of the Rookie Year insert both auto jersey and just the jersey ones.
