fair enough for the previous one, more than concretely i am asking about general buying of boxes of ebay...is it true, that people open these boxes and close them again? or that they hit the case hit and then just sell the rest? Would you advice to buy boxes from ebay or from shops?

That 2nd one from grossistesk is legit. I've bought from him before, and his boxes arrive quickly, safely and without tampering.

Sounds like this seller is pretty good (from the other feeback on the thread) but the general concern with buying boxes on eBay is that they've been "case searched".
Someone buys a 12-box case. After 4 boxes, they've found the 'case hit' and then sell the rest to make most their money back.
Not every seller is like that. Many eBay sellers are honest, and don't do this stuff. Look at their feedback, and you should probably be able to tell what their integrity is like.

I've purchased boxes a couple times from him as well, and no complaints here. I'm actually considering buying one from him this week.
My experiences with buying boxes on ebay is that you have to make sure the description matches exactly what you are looking for, and I would stick to dealers that 1) have a good feedback rating 2) have sold a good number of boxes before. I feel this gives the feedback rating more value.
This lesson comes from an experience of mine buying a box from somebody who had a good rating, but I later realized this was because he sold car parts, never boxes before. I got screwed, learned my lesson, and haven't had any problems with boxes from ebay since.

I did purchased boxes from Wowzzer and from jp_supplies_and_collectiblesand I haven't been disapointed, I think they are pretty honest sellers, fast shipping and no hassle and by the cards I got, case haven't been searched. I also purchased stuff from Grossistesk and he does ship fast and he got pretty good feedback. As it is mentionned earlier in the thread, you should always check the number of Feedback and how many of these Feedback that are related to sports cards as a box of hockey card is always a big investment. For my part, I trust ebay as much as any card store owner.
