Press Pass changed up the look on this year's Stealth. The base cards are not as heavily covered in chrome foil as previous years. This has allowed for the cards to remain flat instead of bowed in the middle. There appears to be a slideshow effect built into the design as you can see a distinct left and right triangle on each side of the card.
Six subsets cover the 90-card base set. The first two are devoted to the drivers in the NSCS and NNS. Maximum Velocity features a few of the cars that stand out on the track. Dual Operator is devoted to showcasing the drivers who pull double duty and drive in both the NSCS and NNS. Command Performance details some of the faces to today and the milestones/noteworthy stats of their career. Finally, Under The Radar closes it out by highlights some of the future stars of tomorrow that figure to be the headliners in the years to come.
Stealth only has two insert specific unto itself. Mach 10 is a 9-card set that features some of the most popular drivers in NASCAR. Power Players is a 9-card set devoted to those expected to make a run at the championship. The die-cut of the card is designed to look like a trophy. The continuation of the NASCAR HOF set is found in Stealth. Another 10-card towards the 100-card overall set reside right here.
And then there's a new redemption program that can only be found in Stealth and Main Event (releasing later this year). Inside each pack of Stealth (except for packs with a relic card) is a Lap Leader card. Each one is worth between 1 and 50 Laps. To reward the racing collectors out there, you can accumulate these points and redeem them for some great items courtesy of Press Pass. You can click here for more information on the program: Lap Leader
Each box of Stealth typically yields one autograph and one race used item per box and this one was no exception. The Press Pass Signings series has multiple levels for each driver's autograph. The Battle Armor series continues to be a mainstay in Stealth and one of the most popular race-used programs from Press Pass. It contains a piece of sheet metal from the driver's card and appears in multiple levels.
Press Pass Stealth has always been one of the most intriguing releases in any sport every year. The chrome foil cards are one of the first things that come to mind before you tear open the box. Looking forward to seeing the heavy cards with an arc in the middle, I was pleasantly surprised to find the cards were flat. The sheen is just enough and the cards stand out. However, never happy when we come up short on a full set and then to get a duplicate of an insert is never good. But we did manage to see a second HOF card.
Outside of the Black & White cards found 1 per pack and the couple of insert, that is it for the entire set minus the auto and race used piece. There are no serial numbered cards/parallels (outside of the aforementioned B&W) to be found. The autograph series infuses a great mix of today's stars and those trying to make their way through the ranks. The Battle Armor series will always be a personal favorite as there's something about sheet metal pieces that seem to bring you closer to the action and they look great as well. However, with that being it, the value of the boxes suffer for the price paid. Though the Lap Leader program is a neat twist.
Once again, I'd like to thank our wonderful sponsors at Press Pass for giving us the opportunity to open and review this release. For more information on all their products, you can check them out at www.presspassinc.com.

First off thanks to Press Pass for giving us this oppurtunity to review the set.
The box in itself was a decent break, pity there was not a full set, since this has been an issue that Press Pass has stated that they were going to allow. The holofoil cards in my opinion are to much. When I broke my boxes it was done under flourescent lighting and really played with my eyes. I is fantastic that PP brought back the die-cut cards in an insert set but to have a set called Power Players and then to include an untested NASCAR driver in Danika in it-??????????
My opinion not one of Press Pass's better sets, follows the lead of the othewr products for the year.
