2009-10 Upper Deck GOLD Hologram Rookies??
I have been opening packs of the 2009-10 Upper Deck Basketball I have probably opened over 150 random packs from Wal-Mart, Ebay, Target, and Some card shops.
Recently encountered GOLD ROOKIES..?? They instead of the Print and team logo on the front being in silver or chrome, it is in GOLD FOIL.. also the UD hologram on Back is GOLD no the silver.
WHAT is the DEAL WITH THESE?
I have never ever seen or heard of them, Looked on Ebay for a week NOT A SINGLE card similar. Searched Google Nothing. Yahoo Nothing. Searched Forums and posted questions with collectors and Nobody seems to recognize or know these cards?
HAS ANYONE HEARD OF OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE GOLD ROOKIES from the 2009-10 UPPER DECK SET?
I was wondering if they were even Errors of some kind.
I remember a 1993 Derek Jeter Gold Hologram UD, It sells on Ebay for about 1,000 Bucks.

NOT SPs GOLD HOLOGRAM
Every last card that I have ever seen from this set SP or not has been SILVER only.
Dont know whats up with these, They are not serial numbered but seem that rare.

2009 Star Rookies Parallel
I believe this is what you pulled, Is your card set # from 201 to 225, they are unlisted in value and no print run available either.Collecting All Current Las Vegas Raiders, Carmelo Anthony, Ken Griffey Jr, Bo Jackson, Frank Thomas.
plus many more, Also any Legend or HOF raider players as well.
Just getting back into the Hobby so not much tradebait but have some stuff just let me know what your looking for and i will see what i have, No trade List Available yet but i am working on one.

Yes, I got These Gold Star Rookies with the Gold Foil and Hologram:
213 , 206, 221, 223, 220, 202, and 224.
so they are Unlisted unpriced and everything?
No information.
I didnt think gold Paralells were made for this year/series.

ohhhhhhhh... ive been wondering what the "parallel" to my Upper Deck Marcus Thornton was... it only states "parallel" in beckett but doesnt say anything else about it

Value?
ANY Idea of the Value or pricing on these cards?
Production numbers?
I imagine that a Flynn, curry, Evans, or Jennings would be High Dollar if they were made.

On these since they are not numbered and considering this is Base UD (not a high end product) i wouldn't consider these cards high end in value, if anything i would take the SP bv and maybe throw a 2x on it for the parallel at most, Also there is no Print Run listed for them, So couple things, 1 they were only inserted into UD Blaster's (Targer/Wal-mart/K-mart Etc) which makes them store exclusive's which leads to no book values, 2 Maybe Upperdeck just hasn't updated there database on these, theres a lot of possibilities as to why they don't book etc but at least you know what they are and thats a good start.
