Best Retro based Hoops Set [Besides Murad]?

Hi all, new to hoops collecting [well, collecting as a kid not counted] and just bought a box of Murad today, based on my love of the Baseball retro sets, I.e. Ginter, Turkey Red, Chicle.
I loved loved loved it.Heck, it had me at the box design!

That being said, besides Murad, which are the best retro based basketball sets out there?
I am looking to start up a nice collection of relics and selected Knicks from these sets.

    thanks in advance.

personally, i like 08-09 skybox. they look like cards from the 90's and you can pull some really nice cards like precious metal gems and rubies

Phlash, thanks, I'll look that one up.

You know, I coudl have sworn I saw a jersey relic from a set in my local shop that might have been that. I was rushing and i just noticed it looked retro. Was a Kevin Martin. I might grab it now

06-07 Turkey Red is my favorite. Unfortunately, there's an obscenely rich lawyer dude from Texas who has made it his mission in life to get every single good card from that product.

it sounds like he means, the lawyer bids pretty high on rare turkey cards, so youre going to need a lot of $ if you want to put a nice set together and/or the lawyer has already hoarded up the good cards and they'll probably never see the day of light ever again

    Those obsessive set collectors...

Have you looked at 07-08 Artifacts? They have an older look. The 2005 Topps Fan Favorites have an old school look, too. I think of starting that set every once in a while.
