Arnie
Here's something even stranger...
I got an 8x10 back personalized, and it appears a different pen was used between the inscription and the signature. The signature is starting to fade but the inscription isn't. I'll post a pic tomorrow, it's at my office. Weird.

I am almost positive in many cases of "personalized" items, the secretary will write the salutations and the athlete in this case, Arnold Palmer will just simply sign his name. I have a few items that I sent to him and that is the case on a couple of them.

I just got him back via the PA address. As mentioned before, the personalization is in a different pen and ink than the autograph. So the personalization looks good. The Palmer autograph has characteristics that looks like autopen, except the auto does not match up to any other autos I have seen from him in the past to go along with the autopen theory. So maybe he uses a weird pen when he writes?? Also, from my experience with him over the years, when the item is personalized it is more than likely real. When not personalized, most likely an autopen.

I got him today as well. I've received the autopen version and this one is definetly not an autopen. There is a lot of flaring with no visible dots. My personaliztion also matches the autograph.
Much happier with this one compared to the other one I have received.
