    Can anyone answer Ebay Question?

I bought an Anderson Silva Auto today for only $29.51 on ebay. The guy sent me a message that he was sorry but it sold to low and he refunded my money. He should have put a reserve on it. I tried to open a case but ebay rejected it automatically with no reason. Can they get away with doing that?

The bottom line is what are you really going to do about it? If you wanted to get a lawyer you could sue him, but an Ebay dispute isn't going to do anything. It sucks that people will do that on Ebay. I once won a UDA Jerry Rice item for cheap and the guy told me that his son knocked it off a table braking the glass framing and ruining the item. I don't for a second believe that is what happened.

Honestly though, if it bothers you that much, this guy admitted he was breaching a contract with you. He is legally obligated to sell you that item for the price you won it for and you could do something about it. It would be way more of a headache than it is worth though.

Check out some contract law and you can easily show this guy that he would lose to you in a lawsuit to sell you the card for that much.

Really I would just leave him negative feedback and let it go though.

Sadly it's true Ebay don't care. They made money off him listing it. He still gonna pay the fees for selling it. Leave him a neg. it's his first as a seller so def. won't look good on future listings. I sent him a message as well letting him know that was a BS thing to do and will contact every member that bids on that card. Shoot i might throw a bid or 2 on it but, i might not have enough to pay if i win though.

Thanks guys, I thought the point of spending so much time looking for stuff on ebay and bidding is to find a good deal here and there.

Did someone say that was his first time selling? If so that's really gonna mess him up in the future. That'll scare people away no doubt about it.

Yeah, i think he only has 8 feedback and all of thats from buying. I just checked the items he won and i found the reason he wouldn't take $29 for it. Idiot paid $85 for the card. He sent me a ugly response to my message so i told him he might as well take it down. I'll take a couple Negs to make sure he doesn't sell it now.

Appreciate the support! I told him I was going to ruin his feedback unless he sent it and he said ok to leave the negative feedback, so I did.

Best thing is you can't get a negative as a buyer. I'll get in a bidding war with you ColtsVols and have it sell for like 200 then not pay, lol.

You just try buddy!! I'll pay whatever it takes for that card. I told him i hope he has another site to sell it on cause he won't sell it on Ebay. Esp. after his response.
