Help me with this Babe Ruth 1/1
Quick storyline...went to the LCS, heard there was a beckett raw-grader in store. Hit this card from 2008 SPx, and was advised by the rep that it was best to not grade/slab. His reasoning was that the 1-of-1 was all the value, and would easily sell itself...so he sleeved and top-loaded it.
Don't get me wrong, card is absolute mint shape. Believe it books 100, but the rep and store owner told me to expect 150 for it. Just wondering what the SCF Nation thinks?? Should I go back and pay like 12 bucks for a quick raw grade.....or...... ?

dont bother grading. Only some autos (mainly prospects) and vintage should be graded.

i agree, dont grade it BECAUSE
Its a Ruth, and a 1/1. and IF you grade it, and it get below a 9.5, it'll only hurt the resale value on the card.
