There's no way you can lose if you truly put ur bid at $23 unless the Seller Removed your Bid (but you would get an Email saying so) so maybe you thought you did but really did not....

Looking at the auction tho, It looks like your Bid went in after his

A tie number always goes to the person to enter first. If you see your enter number is the price while you are not the winner, you just need to add another increment. In your case, you will have to pay $26 to win it.

yes but according to Ebay your bid came in later than the winners....

    Jun-12-10 15:11:38 PDT US $23.00 His
    Jun-12-10 16:24:58 PDT US $23.00 Yours

so not sure what happened but by the timing it looks like you were late.

ok. thanks guys for the explanations. i thought i was going crazy for a while there. im kinda starting to hate ebay both from the sellers and buyers view. sometimes i daydream about starting an online auction site for sports cards and collectibles that only charges a one time listing fee. not like ebay having all those listing fees, final sale fees, and paypal fees. its just a dream. ;)

If you start that site, be sure to promote it here because I'd love to see that happen! I've only sold a few things on eBay because after all the fees, it's not even worth the time to list some little things...
