    Great Mail Day but...

The SS collection may have to take a bit of a hiatus as my finances need to be focused elsewhere. This isn't to say I'm not interested in trading but buying will be taking a back seat unless I see a steal of a bargain (I missed one of these while on a trip this weekend... a Main Event Marks /45 went for $3!!! I mean OMG ™™™ man..I missed that?!) Sorry for the rant but I hate missing out on steals... But on to the mail day!

I was able to complete some Rainbows today.... Prominent Pieces (Check) I now have Gold/Silver/Bronze... and wouldn't you know it, Silver was the hardest to find.. haha...I was also able to complete the rainbow on the Pit Sign/Banner series (had banner for a while but hadn't mentioned it.) I also got a 1:64 car of Scott with the Windshield signed... so overall.. awesome day!

Overall... Michigan was frustrating... Mears spins SS...but enough has been said about that but man where did RBR's performance go? Since the spoiler they've really been hanging out back... I watched the race DVR'd and I'm glad as it was a bit of a snoozer... I saw that Casey ended up out with "crash" damage but I never saw him hit anything... did I miss something or did perhaps RBR say "park it"?

David Ragan pulled out of his pit as Casey was coming in and smashed up the side of the car....I know Casey was behind the wall for about 40 laps, then came back out and ran until there weren't any spots to be gained.

Sorry he wrecked your guy....I'd like to say he got loose and SS was just in the wrong spot at the wrong time, but I don't think I can even find a legit enough reason to back my guy on that one, lol.

    BTW, nice mailday!

Thanks, I just was wondering though, even the contact with Ragan seemed pretty slight from the tv replay view... Oh well, I was just curious as I didn't see how the contact with the 6 was enough to take him out but maybe it did more damage than I thought.

The wreck didn't really end up hurting SS's day much, maybe by a position or two... he lost a lap in the process but really was going to get lapped anyway so in all reality it was a no harm no foul deal..

Yea, who knows...didn't seem that bad to me (and of course TV didn't tell us anything further about why he was behind the wall) but I have no clue why RBR would tell him to go to the garage for only 40 laps if they were actually mad about him taking out his teammate.

Yeah, well what you told me makes more sense.. I saw "crash" as his reason for being out but he ran like another 30-40 laps after the accident on lap 98-99 or something so I was just trying to figure out what I missed... haha

Thanks guys, nothing happened financially, just need to stop putting so much on cards and some on the some home improvements the wifey wants.. haha

Having said that, a seller on the bay just helped me to get 1 step closer to completing the Pit banner rainbow (need the Red) and I now have the pit sign rainbow (regular/holo/red/green) yay! all for $6... haha

I also failed to mention that Savage helped me to complete the "Stealth Confidential" rainbow as I also now have Bronze/Silver/Gold (/25) so thanks!!
