    eBay feedback advice...

    Hey fellas,

Won a card from eBay. Received it today, and the seller shipped the card in a regular paper envelope. Granted, the card was in a toploader and was surrounded by two filler cards. Card is not damaged, and the listing did not specify how the card will be shipped. What type of feedback should I leave? Thanks-in-advance.

I would leave a positive feedback, and make a note of how it was shipped in the comments or ding him on shipping and handling (unless it was free shipping or said in auction that he would ship that way. Since the card arrived safety, he probably doesn't deserve a bad strike for it.

I'm just checking the listing again. I paid $3US for shipping. Stamp was $1.22CAD. Good thing this was a low-end auto for someone else. Total cost was around $8.50US. The seller does not have 100% feedback.

$3 shipping in a PWE is just stupid IMO

I would leave positive feedback. A seller would have to go out of their way, not to get positive feedback from me. Deliver the card in good condition, at the price you advertised - and that's positive, no matter what.

For $3 though, I expect a bubble mailer. The price isn't horrible, bit I'd agree - that's no longer 5 star. 4, maybe even 3.

and the acronym 'PWE' in the feedback wouldn't be out of line either.

For me, it happened once in the past to get a card in plain white envelope (on 200 transactions since 1999). For this particular transaction I decided to not leave a feedback. I know that if I had left a neutral or negative, it would only get me problems, so I decided to avoid problems. Moreover, I find ridiculous for a seller to wait to see the feedback of the buyer before to leave his feedback... seller should leave feedback as soon as payment is made.

Actually, the seller already left me feedback the day I made the payment.
