RIP Andy Harmon 1992 - 2010
I just found out yesterday, one of my friends, Andy Harmon, was killed in a car crash.
He was driving down Loan Mountain Road by himself yesterday.
A woman was messed up on drugs, and went through there flying, and hit him head-on.
My dad heard that he had no pulse when the Life Star Helicopter picked him up, but they did bring him back 3 times, but couldnt save him.
Andy was one of those guys who could be friends with anybody.
He had a laugh that was unforgettable, and if you ever heard it, youd start laughing as well.
He worked at the South Claiborne Volunteer Fire Dept.
I had him in class for English II in 4th period my Freshman year, and had him in Hydroponics in 5th period last year for my Sophomore year.
He was going to graduate this up-coming year.
Andy was a proud Christian, and now is going to be with our savior forever.
Im starting to tear up just a little bit as Im writing this.
The thing Im gonna miss most about him is his laugh; never gonna forget it.
All of us will miss you Andy.

Dang man I'm sorry to hear about that. It wasn't long ago that you lost another friend wasn't it.
From what you wrote it sounds like he was a great guy, no doubt he will be missed by many.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of his friends and family.

I went by where the wreck happened.
He was driving a Chevy S-10 and the woman who hit him was driving a Ford F-250.
Man, you can tell she hit him HARD!
The whole front of the F-250 was destroyed and the frame was buckled between the cab and the bed.
It takes ALOT to buckle the frame of an F-250.
The truck was taken to Petty's Garage (our local car garage) and Andy's truck was in the back covered w/ a tarp.
Usually they let you go back and look at the cars, but the family told them not to let anyone look at it.
On the way there we saw 3 Tennessee State Trooper trucks coming back from the garage.
I also went by and saw the crash site.
He was hit right at his driveway to go to his house, where he was going to. :(
The crash site was pretty large.
Definately the saddest part of it all is he wasnt killed instantly, and was pinned in his truck.
I hate the fact that he had to suffer that much pain for that long.
I cant believe Andy's gone.
But at least he's in a better place now.
