Hey I sent a request off to Daniel Mahoney c/o the Jamestown Jammers on May 25 and received it back today return to sender unable to forward. I was just wondering if this would be because their season hasn't started yet (starts this Friday) and therefore he wasn't there (even though I thought they'd show up somewhat earlier to get ready for their season) or is it just that they do not accept fan mail? Just wondering if it's worth giving another shot...

most minor league teams accept fan mail. it might be bevause its too early, or maybe he got demoted/promoted?

I checked on minorleaguebaseball.com and it said that he was active with the Jammers and he's still on their roster so it seems that he hasn't changed levels, so I guess it was just too early. I seriously thought they would have been there preparing though. Oh well guess I'll try again this week or next week.

The short season rosters aren't set yet and all of those guys are still at extended spring training waiting to be assigned. Try sending it again once the roster is updated. I'm sure hi player page says he is active with the team, but that is still from last year.
