Mark Mulder Officially Announces Retirement
No secret that he hasn't played in a season or two but now he's more or less officially made the announcement. I just wish we hadn't given up Dan Haren (plus two other guys, Daric Barton and Kiko Calero) to get him lol. I remember an announcer in the All-Star Game "And Cardinals fans will remember Dan Haren as 'the one who got away.'"

That's too bad. Such a great pitcher when he was in Oakland. As a Ranger fan I really hated the A's when they had Mulder, Hudson, Zito, and Harden. It seemed like they were pumping out great pitchers one after another.

He was a decent pitcher when he was with the Cardinals. It's too bad he's all done, but I guess it was his time

In hindsight, I hated to see Dan Haren leave St. Louis...talk about getting the wrong end of a deal on that one. lol. I'm not saying Mulder wasn't good but he only had one decent year after the trade.

It was a busted trade, who knew? Tim Hudson faired out well for the Braves. Zito is a bust, even though he is pitching well this year.
