    NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Nashville Predators acquired defenseman Ryan Parent from the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Dan Hamhuis and a conditional pick in the 2011 draft.

    What funny is the Preds gave up Parent once in the Foppa dea aloing with Upshall another draft pick and someone else possibly. It great when you get have a team wanting to trade for the same guy they traded away lol.

    Exactly, so they can either trade his rights away or sign him. Homer has said that his priority is to sign him though.

    Just like Bowmeester last year....and he ended up signing with the Flames 1 or 2 days later. Hamhuis will sign with the Flyers , you can bet on that.

    He'd better get signed. Parent really struggled as of late but he has the tools to be a good defenseman. Looking forward to seeing both Hamhuis and Coburn under contract and having a damn fine defensive core. It makes the goalie situation much easier when you can play good D.
