ROMLB Project Help
I can't make up my mind. I am leaning one way, but I would like to hear what fellow collectors think. I am sending ROMLB's to 3 players, looking for them to be of same position, team, whatever...a theme if you will. I've come up with these options - If there are 'Fees' for certain players, I am looking for the cheapest as I just had a kid so obviously...yeah. Thanks!
1. Bob Feller - Mariano Rivera - Stephen Strassburg or Tim Lincecum
*Pitching stars, Past-Present-Future*
I know, Lincecum has been around, but I think he has a long way to go
2. Duke Snider - Al Kaline - Dave Winfield or Monte Irvin
* HOF Outfielders *
3. Ed Kranepool - Bud Harrelson or Cleon Jones - Jerry Koosman (does he sign?)
*1969 Miracle Mets (Note: I am a Mets fan)*
This is the first time I've tried to post a poll, so if it did not work, I apologize, I placed the choices in the post also.Last edited by JVazz29; 06-19-2010 at 05:57 PM.

I went with the one that you can obviously complete TTM. The other two I see virtually no chance on.

I know I am dreaming if I can snag Strassburg or Lincecum, however, I just can't think of a future pitcher that has at least 'All-Star' potential that signs. Rivera also isn't a guaranteed success, I know. Matusz maybe? Jacob Turner? My only real hope is the slim chance I have of Aroldis Chapman signing at the Triple A all star game...if he's there.
I wasn't sure about Koosman, the Mets idea came to me just as I started to post this poll. I thought of Cleon Jones afterwards as I have seen successes from him....

I voted for the HOF OF set.
Duke, Kaline, Winfield, or Irvin is just an awesome set. They'll always be in the HOF, are ttm accessible, and If you went Irvin, Snider or Kaline, and Winfield it would give you a HOFer from the 70s 80s and 00s. Kind of a neat generational thing. That and I'm partial to collecting HOF autos.

I also voted for the HOF one. You can all get them easily TTM.
But then again, the same goes for the third option, Koosman has a fee, but does sign.
The choice is yours. Good luck.
