In the post below I talked about Pacific's Cramer's Choice cards which in their day were extremely hard to get and extremely sought after. I mentioned thta I had all of the regular sized versions except the 1997 card and the 1999 card. Well I managed to get them both. Here they are.

This is the 1997 version which was inserted 1 in every 721 packs or not even 1 in every 20 boxes:

This is the 1999 version which is serial numbered out of 299:

Okay, something a little different. On the football card talk board I started a thread on what card company that has gone do you miss most. While Fleer would be the one I missed most, I also really miss Pacfiic because of their weird die-cut and foil cards. The Cramer's choice cards below fit into this category. The Cramer in the title referred to the president of Pacific and his choice of the best players for that year. While the scans below don't do justice to the card, these were highly sort after in the day and were as scarce as hen's teeth. From 1995 to 2000 the cards were seeded 1 in every 721 packs - which meant you weren't guaranteed to even get one in every 20 boxes! In 2001 and 2002 they serial numbered instead - to 99 in 2001 and to 120 in 2002. Here are the 5 I own (Favre has one in 1997 and 1999 which I don't own. He didn't have one in 1995, an MVP year. Yeah, good choice Cramer!):</p>

Man, those die-cuts are just insane! I remember those Cramer's choice cards, real cool stuff. The Topps Stars cards are rad, a real old-school rainbow there! Oh yeah, are you familiar w/ collector's edge? All those acetate cards, do you have any of those Favres? I was just thinking of the Boss Squad sets from 94, I love that set but I'm not sure if Favre was included.

Yeah, I have a lot of Favre Collector's Edge cards. 1994 Collector's Edge Excalibur was for a long time my favourite set. Back in 1994 and 1995 my brother and I tried to build a master set of it. We got about 95% of the way there. I also really liked 1996 Collector's Edge President's Reserve as it had some great inserts. Some of the Collector's Edge cards will be making an appearance at some point. Unfortunately they didn't put Favre in the 1994 Boss Squad set, as he didn't have a good 1993 season. He had a great 1994 however and made them look silly.
