    Fleer Redemption Sucess

Back in October I got a Javon Walker Authentix Auto redemption. I sent it in and didn't hear or see a thing from them. I emailed them Tuesday and asked what was going on. They said they were working on getting the cards back from him but if I wanted something else they would send me something. So I took the gamble. Today, only 3 days later I got these in the mail:

2001 Fleer Autographics Shaun Alexander Auto
2004 Fleer Platinum Devery Henderson jersey #98/99

Not bad for Fleer I guess

I did not have a similar experience. I submitted a 2003 Fleer Hot Prospects Kevin Curtis #85 Exch, BV $30. They told me that they were not going to be able to get the card. I asked for a replacement and they sent me a 2004 Fleer Authentix General Admission JERSEY ONLY Marshall Faulk #'d to 350 with a BV lf $8.

Need less to say I am pretty PO'd. I will be contacting them on Monday.

At the same time I had submitted a 2003 Fleer Genuine Insider David Carr Auto EXCH with a BV of $40. They sent me a David Carr Auto in its place...BUT...It is very strange. It is a "Fleer Authentic David Carr Player Autographed Card" It has no card number and it is not out of a set that I can find. It is marked 2004. It is #'d 015/250. I have searched Beckett, Fleer and any other place that I can find and it appears that this is an autographed card that did not come from a set.

I am very unhappy with Fleer!

something happend to me like that as well back in 2001 i pulled a fleer genuine rc auto of deuce mcalister I sent in the redemption and after about a year of waiting they finily desided he wasan;t going to sign so the said they were sending a replacement. I get a package in the mail and i get a fleer showcase jersey that booked 8 bucks. at the time my mcalister rc auto was at 80.00 in beckett before they pulled it out because he never signed. I called and said that was not going to work and that i was not happy at all haveing to wait a year for a rc auto that booked 80.00 and getting a 8 buck jersey card. after a minute or two of him basicly saying i got a good replacement he said hold on a sec. I don;t know if he looked up the price on a beckett or what but he got back on the phone and said your right it dose book 80.00 and the jersey is not equal or grater value and said he would send me out another replacement He blamed it on a new replacement manager saying he was sending out every one with redemptions game used jersey no matter what the bv was. It took a while but i did finily get a desent auto replacement of mcalister it didn;t book the same but at least it was alot closer that 8 bucks. I also had the david carr genuine insider auto as well but i traded mine when i desided that he wasan;t going to sign instid of sending it in.

been waiting on a Fleer Hot Prospects Julius Jones redemption since Aug 04 .... I emailed them over and over, getting more and more annoying, they sent me a Julius jsy /250 for my patience, I really can't complain, but it took lots of typing to get that never game worn jsy, and still I have no auto, so I guess maybe we should all get together and seek compensation, a collective group, we will picket out front and chase away kids from hobby shops.......sorry

I think that Upper Deck probably has the best redemption method. I like being able to punch in my redemption code online. That means that they cannot deny that they got it. I get to keep that card and you can track the status of the card. Kudos to Upper Deck on this one!
