    Time for my rant

Yes I believe mods can rant on the open boards, here goes.

Why is it when you buy a few packs and get hits people on this site automatically assume you are a pack searcher.I've had my share of luck with pack pulls and I only list my better breaks as from past experiences on this site nobody will respond to a break with all commons and junk.If I listed every single break the accusers would see it all evens out in the end and my luck is no better than anyone else's on this site.
Do something nice for someone everyday, it will pay off in the long run.

Better late than ever, i'd say it has more to do with jealousy, people would love to break as much as you do and get nice hits like you do, also may be a case of being bitter, haters will always hate, like me and the Celtics lol

For every 1 pack I get it a hit on, there are 10 packs where I get nothing. I only post the 1 pack that I got a hit, not the 10 where I didn't get anything. I just don't understand why people accusing others when they don't even know the person.

What do you mean by a pack searcher?

You mean like going through a just-opened box and picking out packs that are heavier or thicker than the other ones, or picking the packs that are on the top or the bottom?

Occasionally it seems like I've found a method for picking out the winners, but nothing is consistent or foolproof.

I don't really see anything wrong with that. Short of taking scales to the packs or trying to peek into packs, I don't see picking out packs as cheating.

Generally, I just let the store clerk pick em for me. I've never had great success with picking out my own packs, so I figure they can't do any worse.

But I think the card manufacturers are getting better at randomizing and fool-proofing their packs, unless I am missing something. The ratio of awesome cards to base cards is how the companies ensure they make a profit, so you are bound to get close to what the odds are stated on the packs; unless you get a hot box (I think that's what they call it). The best I've ever gotten was a box of Fleer Maximum football where every other pack had a GU card, and there were 24 packs in the box. My buddy was jealous because as we alternated opening packs (we both bought a box) in our usual ritual, it soon became obvious my box was stacked!

Eh, we've all had our good pulls and our clunkers. It does seem that some people might have better luck than others but in reality it probably has more to do with how much product you open compared to others. In the long run I would imagine it evens out. For me personally I have horrible luck. Anyone here would do well by finding me, bringing me to the card shop with them, and avoiding any pack I would pick out, lol. The opposite theory so to speak! Seriously, I am thankful for the good cards I've pulled and like most people I am thrilled with the hunt and the excitement of not knowing what you are getting until you open that pack. That is what takes me back to my childhood and what keeps the hobby interesting and keeps me coming back for more! The little kid in me keeps me from ever quitting this hobby completely no matter how hard I try and how much money I've burned over the years on cards!

You would have to say in your post bought 100 packs and pulled this. Rather than got this out of a pack. People assume you cherry picked it.
