    90-91-Hoops cards

I kinda like these cards because they show the full college stats for all the players-not just the rookies. It shows that sometimes players with awesome college stats don't pan out in the pros, while others such as Charles Barkley-although a star in college-he averaged about 15 points and 10 boards a game-playing center at 290-who was to know he was going to become the dominant superstar that he became? Anyway, that's why I enjoy these cards.

LOL, I am glad someone else likes old cards. I have good memories associated with them. I have a particular fondness for the old Hoops sets. In fact, when 1999-00 Hoops Decade came out, I decided to collect the whole set. I also have the series 1 set of the 1993-94 Hoops Gold parallel cards. Those cards smell good, too! :new_llyin

Thanks for replying to my thread. I'm particularly fond of my 1969-70 Topps cards. I don't have the complete set, but I have many great rookies-Lew Alcindor, John Havilcek, Bill Bradley, Earl Monroe, etc. Also, going back to Sir Charles, I remember when he played for the 76ers-when he would go coast to coast, dribbling behind his back, the NBA had never seen anything like that before.
