Case Breaking and The Potential For Return

Need your thoughts and opinions SCF

If you had $10,000 and your going to open some high end stuff, you may keep 1-5 cards but your going to sell the rest to try and recoup however much of the $10k you can.

What product are you breaking, maybe give me a top 3 and it can be Baseball, Basketball or Football.

Also base it on the product from 2008, 2009, 2010...the product not a certain year though.

Basically you hunting for high end rookies and 1/1's then the rest go on ebay. Please don't say well if I had 10K I would do this..........I don't care.

It seems like the only way to make money back on basketball stuff is keeping unopened product and hope a rookie from it takes off.... In baseball a lot of people mae their money back on cases of Bowman Chrome and stuff like that but basketball just doesnt work the same.

Besides super high-end product, I don't see how you can sell $10,000 worth of card quick enough and people still want to buy them. It will take so much time to sell 10 cases of base cards.. lol

Exquisite is pretty much done unless you get BIG hit.

ok guys yall are missing my point, I know I couldn't resell them for the full value. I do lots of selling and know how the market is. Each sport has 2-3 high end products so out of the 3 sports what has the best resell value. Im a football guy so we have EXQ and Nat. Treasures with NT probably being better overall. What does basketball have? I know there is Exquisite and that the top rookies sale for more than football but its also anywhere from $750-$1500 more a case depending on the year.

Exquisite for sure, any year because you can get HOF players like Jordan, Magic, Bird, Dr. J, plus Kobe, KG,etc.
In my opinion the recent draft classes are really weak, so dont worry about RCs.
Spending that much money you would have to go for the best!

What about poor mans exquisiste? A case of chronology from 20007-08 is the way i would go. Has very nice hits.
