Getting sharpie off a bat??
Last summer I went to a Braves game and waited outside the stadium to get autographs and since Don Sutton is one of the broadcasters for the Braves I got his autograph on a black bat and a ROMLB. When he signed the bat my freakin silver sharpie messed up and Mr. Sutton stood there for like 15 seconds trying to get the sharpie to work with no luck. So I have a nice black bat with a horrible signature on it. This friday I'm taking another trip to Atlanta so I was gonna try to get some more autographs and was wondering if anybody knew how to get sharpie off a baseball bat? Any help would be appreciated!

I would try finger nail polish remover. I used it on my Greg Jeffries Gamer to remove tape residue. I would test it on a small part of the bat to make sure the nail polish remover doesn't take any paint off the bat.

Nail Polish remover worked pretty good but then my mom suggested hair spray which removed the sharpie very quickly. Thanks for the help! This time i'm going to use a paint pen

Well to get autographs i get to the stadium at like 1:30 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. game and i stand outside the player's parking lot. Don Sutton usually won't get there until after 3:00 but he walks in the offices which is like 30 yards over from the player's lot but you can see him walking across the road from the media parking lot. He signs for everybody who wants him.
