Idea for a new product: HHOF members

This obviously couldn't be a new anual release.... just a 1 off. Kinda like the Montreal Canadiens Cenntenial Set from Upper Deck, or ITG's 1972: The Year In Hockey.

But I'm wondering what the reaction would be, to a set that was built from nothing but Hall-Of-Famers?

Based on the number of players / builders / brodcasters that are in there.... there's 394 members (after today's induction). That's a pretty sweet base set.

There's many living members, so there'd be lost of different autographs to stick into the set. You could do some Game Used stuff.... and even Cut Signatures as some of the biggest hits?

I was sort of envisioning a 8 cards / pack / 24 packs a box type format.... where you get 2 or 3 hits per box.

Am I the only one who thinks this would be a good idea? Would there be cardboard love for people like Lou Lamoriello, Ray Scapinello, or Rod Phillips?

I think it's a pretty sweet idea actually, especially with all the people who collect HOF Autos.

I like it. You could even have multi-auto "Class of xxxx" cards as a SSP, featuring all the inductees from a particular year.

Great idea. I collect only HOF autos, so I would buy alot of this product.

As for cutting up HHOF memorabilia, thats a very touchy subject to many (Lorenz pads)

Id be all for it...Press pass legends ( football ) didnt sell too well , but i liked that each box you got two HOF autos.

Fantastic idea! The base set should try to include every hall of famer. I'd love to have a card of Vancouver Millionaires rover Si Griffis.
