    Coyotes Re-sign Pyatt To Two-Year Contract

    GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-signed left wing Taylor Pyatt to a two-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    Pyatt, 28, recorded 12-11-23 with 39 penalty minutes (PIM) and a career-high +13 rating in 74 games with the Coyotes last season, his first with the team. He also collected 1-1-2 while playing in all seven of the Coyotes’ postseason games last year.

    In 2008-09, Pyatt registered 10-9-19 and 43 PIM in 69 games with the Vancouver Canucks while also appearing in four playoff games. The 6-foot-3, 232-pound Pyatt has registered 103-111-214 and 354 PIM in 606 career NHL games with the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks and Coyotes. He has also collected 3-10-13 in 37 career postseason contests.
