Back in the Hobby!

After nearly a decade of being out of the hobby, I decided to get back into card collecting/selling. Back in the 80's and 90's I sold cards at local card shows in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles under the name University Sportscards. Our claim to fame was creating the premium $10 grab bag which drew huge crowds at Southern California card shows in the early 1990's.

I enjoy breaking boxes and then selling off/trading what I don't plan to keep. I am hoping to expand my collection of cards for Ronnie Lott, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Steve Young. I am also planning to start collecting Patrick Willis and Michael Crabtree.

Welcome to SCF. It's often a good thing when someone takes a break from the hobby, eventually the things they love about collecting bring them back, and the old cards are looked at for the like the first time all over again. Sounds like you have a good handle on where to start again. Good luck rebuilding your collections!

Don't forget to check out this thread for "newbies" and let me or any other staff member know if you have any specific questions. Once you've posted 10 times you'll see links in everyone's signature and be able to view traders and PC items too.
