    UD Replacement..........comments neeeded

I am not really a hockey collector but I got a box of UD Black for Xmas. I pulled an Ovechkin Quad Jersey /50 that was seriously damaged. 6 months later I get a replacement. I need your advice on what I got. Like I said I am not a super hockey guy but this don't seem right..............

I think thats a fair replacement. Schenn is probably a little more than half the superstar Ovie is, and you got half the numbered card that the Ovie was. Sorry if I didn't explain it well. But its fair IMO.

BV are the same I think. So seems fair. Player wise, you kind of dropped a little bit. But Luke Scheen is pretty popular.

Not to mention he is a leaf and the card is from the highest end of hockey cards upper deck puts out

Well you pulled a card from a product that, IMO, doesn't sell as well as the retail price suggests. It's a basic jersey of a superstar /50. They sent you a card /25 from the highest end product of a decent player in his rookie year release who plays for the largest hockey market. It's not that bad of a replacement, probably even wash. It'd definitely be a win around this time last year when Schenn was a lot more hyped.

I am going to go with you guys on this. Thank goodness for this site. I was hoping I would get at least an Ovechkin back so I could keep it for my collection, we'll see how it sells. Thanks again guys for your help.

Thank your lucky stars you actually got something from UD. All in all it's a pretty fair replacement imo.

Be lucky that you got something in the mail from them. I'm still waiting for my Crosby GNT and Ovy jsy /99 to come back. Our last contact was that it was shipped 3 weeks ago.

My wife did pay 200+ for a box of cards with one card that was destroyed, so I guess I am glad I got something back even though it took almost 7 months:-)
