Poor collation???
I just watched about 5 videos on YouTube of Champs being opened. Two of the boxes had the same memorabilia cards:
Robinson
Perreault
Lundqvist
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Have you seen this happen before? Not that those are bad players to hit by any means, just thought it was interesting.

I've bought a few boxes of Champs and found that the collation is not too bad. However, you do get the "repeater" packs where one card is always followed by the same, and again, and again... One pack will have (for example) Toews followed by Lecavalier, Richards, Brodeur and Modano. Another pack opens with Kovalev, then Toews. You can bet the next cards are Lecavalier, Richards, Brodeur and Modano. Kind of frustrating.
Nothing new to the hobby, but you'd think over they years they'd have a solution to that problem.Last edited by Drewk86a; 06-28-2010 at 12:38 PM.

I've opened a few boxes of Champs and found that everytime you pull a JVR RC, a Tavares RC is following. I've had 3 boxes like that so far. Not complaining though.

I've had most of my champs boxes have damaged cards, but I've never gotten the same GU back to back

I haven't pulled one damaged card in about 7 boxes.

There are similar situations in many products. In 2005-06 UD Series 2 the Young Guns for Getzlaf, Vanek and Ovechkin almost always ended up in the same box.
