He's not, if the meeting was so important he would've been at it. New York is even worse than going to the Nets #justsayin

I think the Knicks getting Amare Stoudemire is the reasoning behind the meeting.
Amare makes the Knicks a way better option than the Nets.
Lopez and Harris couldnt get anything done last year, atleast Amare led his team to the Western Conference Finals.

Amare had Steve Nash....
I'd much rather go to the Nets than the Knicks even with Amare, they have a young core that could compliment LeBron much better than anything the Knicks could do

Ummm.. Amare played with Steve Nash. Pretty sure Amare didn't do it all by himself

The Knicks came back because they wanted to pitch LeBron on Amare. And LeBron still chose not to show up....should tell you all you need to know. The Knicks aren't even on his radar.

If Knicks lose out on LeBron James and only land Amar'e Stoudemire, Donnie Walsh's plan was worth it

Stoudemire agrees to sign with Knicks:
Stoudemire has already started recruiting, saying he spoke to James' people and directly to Wade last week.

Stoudemire is the guy LeBron James wanted the Cavs to get for the playoffs last year.Last edited by joseutu; 07-05-2010 at 08:20 PM.
