Beckett site downtime

I know all websites have occasional periods in which they're not functional, but I don't think I've ever used a pay site that has as much downtime as does Beckett.

I'm not going to get into a huge rant about this, but I'm sure others must share my frustration. It's disappointing to pay for something that so often doesn't work properly.

I stop in there occassionally to check the stories on the main page, 90% of the time the page takes eons to load or doesnt load at all. It's hard to understand how anyone in a web management/marketing position can leave that mess up. Im guessing it's the company owners nephew who built it.

Ive had numerous problems with the speed and content of the site so much so that i dont use it at all. In my inventory whole lines were missing so i couldnt see all my cards. If i added more than 5 cards in a session it would freeze. If i hit the back button more than twice it would go completely off the message boards. They once were a great site but they now get very little traffic and it seems to be dying a slow painful death.

Well at least there other options out there. I just know if I had the opg and was paying for it and could not get to it I would be frustrated.

It's unfortunate that it has turned out this way for Beckett. I don't pay for the OPG anymore but I do still use the Organize to log my collections and track incoming cards. Took me about 5 minutes last night to update 4 cards that arrived and put them into their new collection folders...after the site was down for a good 90 minutes.

I use to only use Beckett for tradeing and everything else now I never use it but I do post box breaks just so some other people can enjoy the break boy am I happy I found this place
